Who We Are
About Us
Since 2014, APEX BEHAVIORAL SERVICES has actively filled a need in Indiana. We primarily serve intellectually disabled and developmentally disabled residents in the southern region of the state.
What Sets APEX Apart
Shane Sims and Robert Spicuzza, co-owners of APEX, are both experienced Behavior Clinicians. They find serving those who participate in waiver programs deeply satisfying. However, they weren’t completely satisfied with the level of care available. They were also dismayed by the high rate of employee turnover within their field. So, Shane and Robert made it their mission to improve services by building a team as committed to excellence as they are. The result is APEX BEHAVIORAL SERVICES. How is APEX able to attract the best of the best? “APEX believes in taking care of the people who take care of our people.” Along with providing the best service to clients, we make sure all APEX staff members are paid the highest possible rates. Those who provide excellent care deserve excellent compensation. And this difference means our clients aren’t experiencing the unsettling turnover of constant staff changes—we’re very proud of the peace of mind the tenured service our dedicated team provides.
What This Means to Those We Serve
While other agencies struggle to provide services due to a shortage of available staff, APEX has a waiting list of staff available to serve our clients.
