EVANSVILLE, INDIANA: As of August 1, 2016, APEX BEHAVIORAL SERVICES is the new provider of Residential Services for Jacob’s Village. In this key role, APEX actively promotes the Jacob’s Village mission of, “…a safe, walkable neighborhood community where people with disabilities and older adults can find meaningful relationships, housing that is affordable and accessible, and activities that encourage active minds and bodies.” As Program Director of Residential Services, APEX team member, Jeanie Landrum, leads those who serve the residents of Jacob’s Village. Landrum holds a bachelor’s degree in health services from the University of Southern Indiana.

Currently, Jacob’s Village has four homes, each housing four residents. A fifth home is in the final stages of construction. Additionally, Jacob’s Village offers several apartment homes. APEX team members provide 24-hour support for all residents of the Jacob’s Village community. Shane Sims, Co-Owner of APEX BEHAVIORAL SERVICES, exclaims, “We are excited to provide our services to Jacobs’s Village and look forward to great successes while assisting their residents needs.” APEX services ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the residents, as well as assist in the development of skills that enhance independent living.
