Employment Services

Employment Services is a program funded by Vocational Rehabilitation Services, a State of Indiana Agency. Employment Services allow consumers with disabilities to explore vocational opportunities in a community setting in order to obtain and maintain competitive employment.

The individual with a disability or disabilities can be evaluated in the community at a job site in order to fully assess their individual work skills and abilities.  Once this has been determined, the job developer will assist with completing employment applications that are mostly online.  When a job interview is scheduled, the job developer will prepare the individual for the interview.  Finally, once the job is secured, the job developer can work directly with the employer and trainer to assist in any way necessary so that the job in the community can be maintained.
